The 45th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival
Celebrating
46 years, Amish Acres Arts and Crafts Festival has been ranked as
the 7th Best Classic and Contemporary Craft Show in the Country
for 2008, the highest honor for any Indiana show, by Sunshine Artist
Magazine. The
American Bus Association (ABA) selected the Arts & Crafts Festival
as a Top 100 Event in North America in 2003, 2006, and now 2008;
simply unprecidented.
350 artists and crafters from around the country surround Amish Acres
pond to apply their trade and sell their wares. Live entertainment on three
stages throughout the day includes country bands, magicians and square
dancing. 
Festival
foods are a very important part of the four day event featuring everything
from apple pie to zucchini bread. $10,000 in cash prizes, children's entertainment
tent and much more have earned the festival the honor of being one of the
Top 200 festivals in the nation and the 8th Top Traditional Crafts Show
by Sunshine Artist Magazine. The Arts & Crafts Festival has also been rated
as one of Leisure
Group Travel magazine's Top 50 Outstanding Festivals and events.
Continuous Entertainment on 3 Stages, Roving Clowns, Medicine Show & Musicians, Square & Line Dancing, Paddle Boats, Cloggers, Festival Foods from Roast Pork to Preaching Pies, Tasty Ice Cream to Sassafras Iced Tea, Amish Acres Tour, Rides, Shops, Famous Family-Style Restaurant, The Round Barn Theatre Showing Plain and Fancy, and Carousel. Old time music fills the main stage while kids ride the swan paddle boats on the pond.
