come for Theatre for Young Audiences in the spring, fall, and Christmas
holidays plus Maple Syrup tours and Fall Harvest Days. Students can
make their very own Shoofly Pies!
Bank
Travel Clubs
Special
programs are devised to bring bank travel clubs to the restored farm
and enhance the sponsoring bank's image with its special clients.
This is a growing segment of our group business.
Red Hat Societies
The
newest rage in women's groups is sweeping the country and many end
up in the Round Barn Theatre for a performance of Plain and Fancy
and one of the seasonal musical selections. Our gift shops are now
filled with red hot Red Hat merchandise, too.
Family, School, and
Club Reunions
Amish
Acres is a popular destination with high school, family, military,
college, fraternity, sorority, and neighborhood reunions. We can
help with the often daunting task of organizing the lodging and logistics
of these special events.
Corporate, Marriage, and Religious
Retreats
The
serenity of Amish Acres historic farm is a perfect backdrop to the
contemplative mood required to make retreats, whether corporate,
marriage, or religious, meaningful and productive. Our relaxed atmosphere
is balanced by our audio/visual department.
Corporate and Company Offerings
Amish
Acres is a wonderful alternative to the cookie cutter, slick, and
cold conference center offerings at every turn. Awards banquets,
Chamber of Commerce annual dinners, corporate annual meetings, sales
training seminars, all are perfect events for here.
Old Fashioned Christmas
Parties
Some
of the most nostalgic Christmas parties take place at Amish Acres
amid the historic buildings that look, smell, and feel like cozy
Christmas past. Thousands of clear twinkle lights fill the trees
along the farm's fence row to welcome those to their parties.
New Year's Eve Cabaret
Following
the final performance of the theatre's last show, a actor's musical
cabaret takes the full theatre into the new year. It is followed
by a fireworks display that is reflected across the farm's pond.
It is a fitting to end and begin each year at Amish Acres.
Company Picnics
Summer
time, summer time, is the best time to treat your employees to an
old fashioned picnic, complete with picnic fare under large tents,
with bingo for all, rolling hoops for the kids, interactive games
for the family.
Wedding Receptions
Wedding
rehearsal dinners and receptions in the Restaurant Barn, the Barn
Loft Grill, or The Locke Township Meeting House, are memorable occassions.
All of Amish Acres venues lend themselves to very personal demonstrations
of love for family and friends.
