Media Admission Policy
Amish Acres welcomes the working news media to the historic farmstead and entertainment complex for the purpose of becoming familiar with this unique travel destination's many angles for feature articles. In addition, it enables working media an opportunity to enjoy Amish Acres with members of their immediate family who might be traveling with them.
This courtesy is extended to active members of the news media and does not include office, sales or retired personnel. The qualifying news media representative must accompany his or her party. Identification in the form of a photo ID or news media ID (press card or business card) is required to pick up tickets. Complimentary admissions are available to working news media in the following categories:
Print Media: Publishers, Editors, Reporters, Writers, Photographers
Broadcast Media: Station Managers, Producers, News Directors, Assignment Editors, Promotional Directors, and "On Air" Personnel
Amish Acres will provide complimentary admission to freelance writers with written confirmation of assignment.
Amish Acres is pleased to offer the following courtesies to working news media representatives:
- Up to four (4) complimentary tickets for one-time visit during the musical theatre season to qualifying media persons and immediate family (spouse, children) for Guided House & Farm Tour, Horse Drawn Buggy Ride, Documentary Films: Genesis of the Amish and Exodus of the Amish, Threshers Dinner, and Plain and Fancy Live Theatre. (Additional tickets may be purchased at half price.)
- A $50 voucher toward guest room for one evening at the Inn at Amish Acres or the Nappanee Inn based on seasonal rates and availability.

Upon arrival, news media should check in at the Round Barn Lobby desk. A media or photo ID will be required for proof of identification. Changes in arrival date must be emailed to janislogsdon@amishacres.com or complimentary tickets will be forfeited
