The Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres is created from a 1911 round barn that was dismantled and reserected at the historic farmstead to become a resident reportory professional theatre. Nearly 90 Broadway musicals have been produced over the last 23 years. This is not civic theatre. This is not a venue for touring companies. The Round Barn Theatre is a producing performing arts company. We attend auditions around the country. We house the entire company and staff on our grounds. We have our own scenic shop, costume shop, rehearsal space, technical director, stage manager, company manager, artistic director, set designer. The Round Barn Theatre is a treasure in northern Indiana that deserves and receives wonderful support from its loyal subscribers.
The 2010 season is being warmly received and anticipated. The range of shows has something for everyone. In addition a five concert series has been added to the busy schedule. Each of these concerts take place during the dark week between shows.

The Round Barn's History
The 400 seat Round Barn theatre is created from a 1911 round barn, dismantled, reconstructed, and converted into a state-of-the-art regional theatre.
The Joseph Stein Stage
Named for the author of Plain and Fancy, Fiddler on the Roof, Zorba, The Baker's Wife, and numerous other Broadway shows.
Plain and Fancy
The first musical to open on Broadway in 1955. Amish Acres is now the National Home for this beautiful love story.
