The Blackwood Brothers Quartet was formed in 1934 with brothers Roy, Doyle, James and Roy's son, R.W. In the late 50s Roy and Doyle retired from traveling and in 1954 R.W. was killed in a tragic airplane crash. However the quartet with James, as the quartets' leader and spokesman, established a new group of singers who would go on to become the best-known quartet in the history of gospel music.
In 2002, James Blackwood went to be with the Lord, but his sons, Jimmy (James Jr.) and Billy continue the 77-year tradition. The group today consists of Jimmy, Billy, tenor Wayne Little, bass Randy Byrd. The result is one of the best quartets you will ever hear!

The Mariners Quartet, originally the Gospel Mariners, originated in 1963. This group was on the long running television program, The Good Ship Zion on WHIO-TV, Dayton, Oh. he group quickly gained popularity all across America. he Mariners are known for their Christian testimony, their desire to draw people to Christ, to bless believers and their family dedication. They are known for their close smooth harmony and their style, reminiscent to their heritage.
