Book and Music: Lynn Ahrens
Lyrics and Book: Stephen Flaherty

Finally the wonderful and exotic characters created by Dr. Seuss are brought to life on the stage. All of your favorites are there, Horton the elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie, the Whos of Whoville and, of course, The Cat in the Hat. This is truly one of the most colorful and upbeat family shows in Broadway history.

All of the Dr. Seuss characters represented are tied together into one charming and inspirational story that will bring out the kid in everyone. Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, who wrote the music and lyrics to the hit shows Ragtime, Once on this Island, Lucky Stiff and My Favorite Year, have created a colorful tapestry of songs covering a wide array of musical styles such as Latin, Pop, Swing, Gospel and Funk. Your toes will tap as you watch and listen to this magical theatrical event.
