Amish Acres Round Barn Theatre is a professional non-Equity repertory musical theatre located in Nappanee, Indiana. Equity guest artist contracts are often extended for appropriate roles. It produces six major musicals each season over nine months, including condensed performances for theatre for young audiences of selected shows. The 2008 season includes The Fantasticks, The Music Man, Carousel, Kiss Me Kate, and A Wonderful Life for the holidays, in repertory with the 22nd season of Plain and Fancy. Second Stage Productions of Lost in Yonkers, Our Town and a Staged Reading of Carmelina round out the season.

The theatre's actors are all professionals, most of them having college degrees in Theatre Performance, Musical Theatre, Dance and other Performing Arts categories. Housing is provided in three residences on the historic farm's property. Auditions are held in New York City in January and in the Round Barn Theatre in February each year.

The Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres, Nappanee, Indiana, and Artistic Director Jeremy Littlejohn, are seeking resident company members for its nine month 2008 season of rotating repertory theatre in New York City, January 21 and 22, 2008.  The ensemble will include ten non-union actor/singer/dancers and technical staff.  The 2008 season will include Plain and Fancy, The Fantasticks, The Music Man, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel, Kiss Me Kate, and A Wonderful Life. Second Stage productions include Lost in Yonkers, Our Town, and a Staged Reading of Joseph Stein's Carmelina.

Repertory company members have roles in every musical production, with a few job-in actors filling ensemble slots in the season.  Weekly salary, housing and meal plan are provided.  The theatre is especially seeking many different types of actors who sing and dance with ease and can play a wide age-range.  Strong voiced leading men, women and character actors a must.  Visit www.amishacres.com for overview and details, or forward questions to The Round Barn Theatre, 1600 W. The Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres announces it will hold auditions for high school age students for the 2008 production of Willy Wonka.

Interested students should come to the Round Barn Theatre prepared to sing and dance for the auditions. Eighteen students will be cast for four school performances and two main stage productions May 7, 10 and 11, 2008. Amish Acres
