Dandelion Festival to Open the 2010 Season
Amish Acres first Dandelion Festival will mark the opening of the new Barn Loft Wine Tasting Room and the 2010 Tourist Season the weekend of May 1st. The celebration will exalt the misunderstood wildflower that fills the meadow on the historic farm each spring. A multitude of recipes will bring the lowly dandelion to the fore in salads, soups, and main courses in Amish Acres family style restaurant. Other special events of the weekend will be announced as the date approaches.
